Fairview Baptist Church - About Us

The purpose of this web site is to let you know a little bit about who we are and what we believe. So, in just a few short words we’ll try to do just that. Fairview Baptist Church began as a new church in 1990 in the rapid growing area between Cary and Apex, North Carolina. As a matter of fact, we are in one of the fastest growing areas in North Carolina. Our beginning was based on a great vision - to glorify God by reaching out to and expressing His love to our community, by bringing people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ, by upholding the family, and by bringing believers into a mature walk with Him.

Having said all that, now we need to be very honest with you. We would love to tell you all about our members, the variety of programs we’ve developed, the buildings we've built, the incredible unity we enjoy (and believe me we are excited about all those!), but after 15 years as a church family, one of our greatest joys is realizing that we are here only because God has invited us to be here. He was at work in this community long before we ever arrived. He has always been at work all around us. And because He is at work He loves to invite His people to be at work with Him. That’s where we come in. Fairview Baptist exists solely because God has invited us be part of His plan. So this web site is not intended to build up ourselves, but to show how a great and marvelous God still works.
