Awana - Sparks

Our Awana Sparks Club is designed for children in kindergarten, first-grade, and second-grade. Sparky, the friendly firefly, helps the children as they travel throughout their handbook. Each Sparks club meeting is broken down into three sessions. Those sessions are: Council Time, Handbook Time, and Game Time.

Council Time is the part of the club meeting where the Sparks are presented with an age appropriate Bible lesson.

Handbook Time is the part of the club meeting where the Sparks recite their memory verses, complete work in the handbooks, and earn their awards.

During Game Time, the Sparks participate in various games that are designed just for them. Later on in the club year, the Sparks will be able to particpate in Sparks-A-Rama (the Sparks version of the Olympics), with other churches from the area.
