Bible Exploration: Going
Deeper in your Personal Bible Study

Annex Building: Room A106
Cost: $25.00 (includes Bible study software containing Bibles & study resources
for this class)
Bible Exploration focuses on Bible study methods, Bible study resources, methods
for interpretation and practical ways to apply Scripture to life. This class
gives you tools to transform the way you study the Bible. Bible Exploration
is excellent for teachers who want to learn how to effectively interpret and
apply Bible passages. Everyone will benefit (teacher and student), no matter
your current level of understanding. Each week will include assignments to complete
before and after class
Christ, Up Close and
Personal (by Josh McDowell)
Leader: Derek Brown
Annex Building: Room A104
This Christ Up Close & Personal 13-Session Interactive Group Course is designed
to equip adults to lead their families to a startling realization: The Holy
Spirit is real and desires to live through their lives and consequently wants
them to live Christ-like. Participants will be challenged to do no less than
become a walking, healthy model of authentic Christ-like living.
For Women Only (by
Shaunti Feldhahn)
Leader: Sharon Henry
Annex Building: Room A110
For Women Only is for every woman who wants to understand and support her husband
in becoming all that God intends him to be. Practical tips growing out of biblical
principles offer women ways to put new insights into practice day-by-day.
Connections - Fairview's
New Member's Class
Leader: Pastor Phil Henry
Annex Building - Room A107
"Connections" is Fairview's new member's class and is open to all
new members as well as veterans. We will explore the purpose and ministry of
our church and how you can use your own personal S.H.A.P.E. to get connected
with ministry. Using Pastor Phil's "Christianity 101" book, we will
also study some of the core biblical beliefs of Christianity such as "Eight
Reasons You Can Trust the Bible," "Who is God?," "Who is
Jesus," overviews of the Old and New Testament and more.
THURSDAY CLASSES
The Virtuous Woman
Leaders: Teresa Jones & Pam Ireland
Annex Building
Thursdays - 9:15am or 7:00pm
Does the woman in Proverbs 31 make you feel like a sluggard? For years Christian
women have struggled to understand what the Proverbs 31 woman was all about.
Instead of encouragement or instruction, for most, this passage offered "more
guilt than eating a one-pound bag of M&Ms." Is this the ideal woman?
Or is the Proverbs 31 woman an outdated fixture of the past? Join other women
on Thursday mornings or evenings for this seven week study, revealing the heart
and character of a godly woman.
Every third week we will participate in a mission project together with the
Women on Mission ministry.
Registration is required for childcare at the Women's Ministry bulletin board.
