First Steps Membership Discovery Class

First Steps Membership Discovery is about getting to know Fairview a little better. Our pastor leads this class and strives to answer all your questions about the ministry of Fairview Church. The class is typically small by design to give each group a personal feel and offer them a greater chance to ask questions. This format allows us to keep the class to four sessions. Whatever you question, our pastor will do his best to answer. This is also a great time to get to know him better as well as other members of our leadership team. Below is an outline of each session.

Session #1: Discover Beliefs: This class covers the essential doctrines our church. This class is a great opportunity for you to know exactly what we believe, ask questions, and see that everything we do is biblically-based.

Session #2: Discover Purpose: This class centers on our Purpose statement and helps you see where we are headed. You will discover how this church came to be and what God is doing now to prepare us for the future.

Session #3: Discover Your SHAPE: This class helps you see that God has gifted and shaped people in a unique way for His purposes. We will look at those areas of Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality and Experiences.

Session #4: Discover Connections: This class is an interactive class with our Ministry Community Leadership Team. Our leadership team will introduce themselves and share about their minirty area. You can ask questions and put a face to a name. This is a wonderful opportunity to see how you can connect to the ministry of Fairview.
