Ministries - Music

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” Colossians 3:16, 17. NKJV

Ministry of Praise and Worship
Worship is not just singing, but giving to the Lord our time, attention and affection. Its where we gather to sing, read the word, fellowship with other believers and continually give our hearts to God. When we worship we will reflect who God is in us to others. We will demonstrate a constant awareness of His presence in our lives, and in everything we do and say.

Here at Fairview Baptist Church, we are committed to honoring Jesus Christ first and foremost. We seek to minister to the Lord, as he is the center and our primary focus. When we are filled with Him we are able to minister to those around us.

The Ministry of Praise and Worship has a Three Phase Objective:
1. To enhance and enable the pulpit ministry by preparing, motivating, and encouraging receptive hearts through music, drama, scripture, or any other method of praise and worship of God.
2. To share the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ: salvation, eternal life, and discipleship, in every musical expression, presentation, choir, puppetry ministry or person who shares through the gifts and talents which the Lord has blessed them.
3. To be a ministry of encouragement to the saints.
